After a touring part of the VirginTrains network Sir Richard Branson announced his intention to pre-qualify for the new Cross Country franchise at a press conference at Euston station. Accompanied by the traditional Virgin razzamatazz plus VRG executives Tony Collins, Charles Belcher and Chris Gibb who all took questions from the invited audience.
